PHOENIX, ARIZ. (March 12, 2018) – The intricacies of the new tax laws can be daunting, especially when it comes to their impact on real estate transactions and the individuals involved.
The March lunch sponsored by AZCREW will present tax attorney Beth Cohn and CPA Sandy Abalos to share their expertise on the matter. The speakers will also discuss 1031 Exchanges, partnership audit rules, reduced or eliminated travel and entertainment expenses, and tax bracket changes.
Cohn, JD, CPA, is a shareholder at Jaburg Wilk. Abalos, CPA, MA, is a principal at REDW, LLC.
The event is scheduled for March 20 at Phoenix Country Club, 2910 N. 7th Street, Phoenix. Networking and registration begin at 11:30 a.m. The presentation begins at noon.

Cohn has been practicing law for more than three decades. She chairs the firm’s Business Law and Estate
Planning Departments. As both a tax specialist and a Certified Public Accountant, she has expertise in business and real estate transactions as well as tax planning, succession planning and estate planning for businesses and their owners.
Abalos has more than 30 years of successful public accounting experience, specializing in meeting the financial needs of privately held businesses. She heads REDW’s tax practice in Arizona and serves as Principal-in-Charge of the firm’s Phoenix office.
