Itzel Sanchez

PHOENIX, Ariz. (August 19, 2026) – CCBG Architects is pleased to announce the addition of Itzel Sanchez as Project Manager, further strengthening the firm’s commitment to delivering exceptional architectural and planning services to clients throughout the Southwest.

Originally from Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, Sanchez earned her degree from the University of Sonora in 2019 and brings a strong technical background and collaborative approach to her new role.

As Project Manager, Sanchez will assist and collaborate with project architects to help ensure the success of the firm’s projects. Her responsibilities include coordinating with consultants, preparing and submitting documents to city and county agencies, following up on new and active projects, and developing construction documents in compliance with applicable code requirements.

“We are excited to welcome Itzel to the CCBG team,” said Paul Ladensack, Partner | Principal at CCBG Architects. “Her technical expertise, enthusiasm for learning, and commitment to collaboration make her a valuable addition to our firm. As we continue to grow and serve an expanding client base, Itzel’s ability to coordinate complex project requirements and support our project teams will help us continue delivering outstanding results.”

Sanchez said she was drawn to the opportunity to contribute to a firm known for its collaborative culture and diverse project portfolio.

“Joining CCBG is an exciting opportunity to continue growing professionally while working alongside talented architects and designers,” Sanchez said. “I look forward to supporting our project teams, building strong relationships with clients and consultants, and contributing to projects that positively impact the communities we serve.”

Outside of work, Sanchez enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and exercising, searching for the best pizza wherever she goes, attending movies, watching anime, and going to concerts.

One of the personal accomplishments she is most proud of is deciding to leave her hometown and pursue new opportunities.

“That decision put me on a path that allowed me to grow both personally and professionally,” Sanchez said. “This transition required courage and independence, and each step has taught me valuable lessons that continue to shape who I am.”
