TEMPE, ARIZ. (August 1, 2023) ‒ GateWay Community College and the Greater Phoenix Chapter of IFMA, the world’s largest and most widely recognized international association for facility management professionals, are launching facility management essentials training classes this fall.
Facility managers oversee functionality, maintenance, grounds, and security of buildings and large complexes such as hospitals, apartment buildings, and event venues. Classes include hands-on challenges and competitions within the facilities management field, membership to IFMA’s student chapter, networking and connections with local employers, mentorship from IFMA members, and an invitation to IFMA’s international conference.
In the spring, the Facilities Management Professional class will be offered as well as the next step towards earning certification.
