TEMPE, Ariz. (Jan. 8, 2026) – Terracon announces the retirement of Senior Principal Chuck Reynolds, an industry leader who spent 20 years in consulting engineering.
Reynolds joined Terracon in 2006 as a Senior Project Manager, focused mainly on developing Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) work for the Arizona offices of Kansas-based Terracon, which specializes in environmental, facilities, geotechnical, landscape architecture, and materials services.
He began full-time client development in 2012, focusing on the public and energy sectors. Reynolds transitioned to fully private sector business development in 2015.
“Chuck’s retirement marks the conclusion of an extraordinary career defined by leadership, mentorship, and a genuine passion for elevating those around him. Whether as a teammate or supervisor, I consistently found myself learning from his insight, creativity, and out‑of‑the‑box thinking,” said Elliot J. Rodstein, Senior Client Development Manager, Western Operating Group | Principal, with Terracon.
“His steady guidance and positive attitude have shaped our team in lasting ways. We are deeply grateful for his contributions and wish him nothing but the very best in this next chapter,” Rodstein added.
Reynolds was actively involved in many national and local industry groups, including the American Council of Engineering Consultants, the American Public Works Association, the Arizona Association of County Engineers, the Arizona Energy Consortium, the Arizona Competitive Power Alliance, ULI Arizona, Valley Partnership, the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, and the Arizona Association for Economic Development.
Reynolds, a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Science degree in geology. Reynolds said he will spend time fly fishing, gardening, and traveling. He plans to remain in the Valley.
“I plan to spend time with family and friends, undertake some personal projects, and perform volunteer work,” Reynolds said. “It’s a time for personal growth, travel, and whatever comes along.”
